alright ive been thinking lately about what we are gonna do about qb startin off the preseason, do you think henne will get much playing time? and if so what do you think the precentages of time each qb will spend on the field?

Henne will get tons of field time. I think Beck will start the opener, Mccown will start the second game. Beck the third and Henne the 4th. But, Henne will get a lot of action this offseason

Have to say I would have taught differently about Henne getting a lot of time. I think Henne see's the least amount of time, getting a few end of third/fourth quarters. With Beck and McCown being the front runners IMO and the competition so wide open, I think both Beck and McCown get a good deal of time to prove they earn the spoot.

All depends on who looks the best in training camp. I've got my money on Beck. But who knows?

I agree with that. I guess it will depend on camp and the first 2 games, if someoen relly steps out and performs. I think the FO loves Henne and will find him plenty of time.

I don't think Henne will get much time. I believe, with the QB comp going on, that the coaches will give Beck and McCown lots of reps to truly gauge which one of them is best suited to lead us into battle. With Henne not getting a ton of first team reps how could he possibly be prepared to start? I like the guy and i am excited to see him play, but i believe he gets lost in the shuffle because he is a rookie and has two guys ahead of him in the learning curve.

Beck and McCown will get the most playing time early and with the first team. I also think the staff is really impressed with Henne, however, really don't want to put him out there unless Beck and McCown are just incompetent or Henne shows something truly amazing in camp and games. No way they want to start a rookie. I think with Beck and McCown getting the majority, however probably not all, the first team reps, one will emerge and that is who they would go with.

I think TC will be similar to OTA's and Minicamp with Beck and McCown battling it out. I think the only way Henne sees any playing time is if Beck/McCown look horrible and based off OTA's I dont think that is going to happen.

This is my prediction and I am not sure how it will shake out in the Preseason or Camp but by opening day This is all depending on if the fins do not get another QB after cuts start happening.

McCown will be the starter
Beck
Henne

By the last game (with no INJ here)

Henne
McCown
Beck

Or if Jeff Gillooly shows up to training camp!!!

God I hate to agree with a Bills fan....But I do.

give Henne McCown Beck each a third of the snaps ok just kidding

Just my opinion, based only on my gut feeling, but I think McCown will start on day 1, and get the majority of the snaps thorughout the season. Beck will be the #1 replacement for games in which we lead (?) or trail by a lot, and Henne will only be played if Beck is having a bad game.

I understand, from Raiders' fans, that McCown is a tough competitor, and that many Raiders' fan were sorry to see him go. He may not be the most talented QB, but he will balance out any lack of ability with toughness. The Phins on the field will rally around this attitude, and we will find out that the Phins will be the most competitive when McCown is the QB.

Kinda makes you remember Jay Fiedler.

I'd like to see Beck step up into this role, but I will believe it when I see it. I'll also be real happy if that happens.
