Brian Flores, Dolphins closing in on contract

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Dolphins and Patriots de facto DC Brian Flores are expected to agree to a contract on Monday.

This has been the expectation for several weeks. RapSheet reports Flores' agent and Dolphins brass worked overnight to finalize a contract, but it is difficult to believe the specifics of the deal have not been settled for some time. The Dolphins have set up a 4 p.m. press conference on Monday afternoon presumably to announce Flores as their new head coach.
