press conference summary by 790am

[A Wing Pilot]

Jimmy Cefalo ( The new voice of the dolphins) got on the RADIO and said that at the press conference that he heard the following things

1. Saban will not take or answer any questions pertaining to ricky that refer to a point in the past

2. Ricky came off a s a very insightfull guy.

3. he's still a little small (213) but ran very well today (no pads), Jimmy said he looked like he did before he left.

4. Ricky said that he has made peace/apologized/regets any bad things that he caused and is "all good" with the team

One reporter asked ricky if he found wwhat he was looking for, for which ricky replied. I left trying to find peice and while I was out there i came to the realization that peace is something that i have to have inside me and not a matter of my surroundings. He feels at peace with himself and the team and is woking hard.

this is all i heard till i had to get out of my car. The fact that he's still quick really excites me in a non sexual way :rofl3: But the man is quite insiteful and relally left an impression on Jimmy s well as some of the others in the press confernce. Saban really seems to be protecting him and making sure his head is on right. All these things if they stay the course will prove to benefit the Phins. I'll see you all there tonight where i will take 8 zillion more pictures!!!!

Yeah it is one of the tenets of Buddism, to be at peace with yourself and your surrounding.

I listened to the press conference with Ricky and I had the same thoughts. He came across as some who was very insightful -- very bright and philosophical, but not in a crazed or maniacal manner. I thought the best part was when he was asked his definition of "commitment" and then asked how that his definition applied to his relationship with the Dolphins. I could paraphrase, but I'd probably screw it up -- you'll have to wait for the transcripts to come out.
