Philbins press conferences are always the same we have do a better job in this and a better job in that .When is the team going to start doing a better job the season is winding down? Its the same story every week obviously this team cant do a better job. When are the coaches going to be held accountable at seasons end??

Every losing team's PC is the same league wide. What else are they going to say? "We suck"?

Bill Belichick press conferences are the equivalent of him giving just his name, rank and serial number. He tries to say as little as possible with a dour look regardless of whether he won or lost. Belichick has become the role model of best practice in many things in the NFL, including this. Joe has mastered the pensive look and the bland acknowledgement that the other was superior and obligatory congratulations to them on their deserved victory. Most Head Coaches nowadays go through this painful process. Rex Ryan is an exception because of his genetic blueprint. He enjoys the spotlight and is prepared to say whatever thought comes to him.
The funny thing is that we all watch these press conferences and hope to see something different. Very occasionally, a Herm Edwards/Jim Mora/Denny Green magic moment of candor will result. They are rare priceless moments because the coach loses his script and responds emotionally. Rex is capable of this after any loss but after the lapband surgery and dramatic weight loss, he is a shadow of his former self. Maybe he is on medication.
Joe is an introverted guy who will never provide good TV in a press conference. The irony is that we have two players, Jared Odrick and Brian Hartline who shine when answering questions from reporters. Both badly failed Belichick 101 and may have careers in the media when they retire from playing.

When they lost to the Panthers last week, that was one of the most awkward press conferences I have ever seen.

What I see out of Phiblin is different than last year, when he was more optimistic. Now, mid-season, in his second year, struggling the way we are, he seems pretty depressed to me. And if you look at Steve Ross's face last night....that's almost a resigned look. There's worry at the top of the organization, and it can't be a good thing.

Or, maybe it's just the scandal that has taken it's toll, that could be part of it.

Philbin tells lies. They made good plays, they were better than us today. Well, duh, you got outplayed again. It wasnt a good play by the Panthers before halftime to throw the 30 yd pass, setting up a fg, it was a bad play call by Coyle.
Say something inspiring to the fans here Joe. Let us know you are REALLY trying here.
This years team drains me..

said this in other posts, but why doesnt anyone take into consideration that we are missing more than half of our offensive personell at this point? I realize injuries and such are a part of the game, but you people have outragious expectations. We were competative against one of the better Ds in the league. Every game has come down to the final drive with the exception of the Saints game. All that being said, we are a few pieces away from having a good offense!

Hitting the reset button is not the answer!

They should call a spade a spade...when you suck say so...We sucked in the second half, we failed on offence, defense, and coaching..that's what you say because that was the truth...Try say the truth for once, instead of not trying to hurt the players feelings, The truth, now that would be refreshing for a change....
