did anybody hear how long our starters will play against atlanta i was just wondering a little info if anybody knows thanks:evil:

Usually never more than a quarter. I even doubt that. I personally believe the starters on offense need another game.

me 2 i think that they do diff need another game to help gel a little more

except for ronnie brown who will get alot of plays- more than 25 i think saban said. he said that was the plan when they sat him in wk 3

one series if anything...If i recall correctly, the last pre-season game, the starters only play 1 series.

This year may be a little different though, considering that we have a new offense we are installing, and Saban has made comments that the QB position is not quite settled. It is very possible that we will see Frerotte for one series, and then the rest of the offensive starters remain in the game with Feeley, to see if he continues to make progress and give him a chance of taking over the starting spot.

We know Feeley can play against second stringers. We need to see what he can offer in the starting role. The question is, if he starts and has an average start, who are we turning to week one?

Expect RICKY to play maybe all 4 quarters.

After this week he can't be around the team or the headquarters at all. And because our BYE week is early, Ricky pretty much will be gone till mid-October so expect Ricky to get a ton of work this week.

Ususally that doesn't happen, but with our bye coming early in the season (week 4?) , I guess we wouldn't risk wearing guys down too much if they played at least the half.

I guess feeleys chances rely on him outplaying frerotte one more time..

Although if gus have an above average game he'll be the starter no matter what feeley does next game IMO

And no, I'm not a feeley lover nor a guskateer I just want one of them to step up and not make many mistakes

Ahh, then I guess AJ will get PLENTY of PT. He will have the last 3 quarters.....if he is still on the roster then.
