Press Passes for Training camp

AJ, TerryTate, anyone????

Is it possible that we get 2-3 press passes for the training camp, hell even for games for that matter?? who would we need to talk to and how could we qualaify ourselves as genuine media outlet. We do have over 10K members and a crap load of posts, ranked in the highest forums on the web and one of the top 5 football ones if i remember correctly. It seems as if maybe this could be atainable?

I'd sure love to site by them and hear what they hear.

I've tried.....I e-mailed Steve Alic and he just said congrats and told me that NFL.com was good enough for my resources when I tried to get a credential for a media site.

Their motto seems to be that if they give a credential to us, they must give it to everyone, even though all other fin sites don't even come close to us. It's crap.

So I'm sure there's ZERO chance I could get one for the Dolphins-Bills game, huh? Probably just as well, I don't think it's considered "professional" to drink 15 beers and then slur questions like, "So AJ...why'd you throw that ball to Clements, you dummy?"

Training Camp press pass means nothing with the way their running things now. I had one, and it enabled me to park in the media lot, which is a long walk, and then you get to enter thru the side gate of the facility. Then, at least the one time I tried to use it, they instructed me up in the stands with the rest of the crowd, and media members.

I inquired one time when I was hunting interviews for this site. I was told that only "acredited" media gets press passes. In other words you have to belong to the Florida Press Association and I do not think they acknowledge internet media. I never looked into it further.

i have looked into this in the past, and tried to acquire them myself. The Dolphins media guide lists all of the local Miami newspapers and the beat reporters who cover them. As well as the local TV stations and radio stations.

I feel, once they start listing the "websites" (which will happen one of these years) that is when press passes and such will become available.

The goal is to get into the Media Guide. Then, when we ask for press passes we can point to that and say........."we are in your media guide for crying out loud how can you not give us one"
