I am no defensive guru but would it not be better if we press the receivers at the line to give our d line a second longer to get there? I know Coyle likes to play off so not to get beat Deep and give up big plays. I think his mindset is if a team needs a 12 play drive they will commit a penalty or turnover. This is just my view of him. On offense why does Tannehill have to be in shotgun all the time. He was under center in the 4th quater at the end of Buffalo game. I would like to see him play under center and I thi that will be the plan going forward. I think during the garbage time they were try to see how it affected the running game and it did seem to help. Buffalo was already safely in the win column though so I don know if that's why it was successful or not. I would like to know how ma,y times he was under center in 11 quarters of the first 3 games. Not during trash time in the fourth against Buffalo. I am maybe in the minority but I hope they beat the jets and can possibly pull of 2 more wins against Tennessee and Houston. I definitely want Philbin gone though so I guess it's a win /win this week no matter the outcome. I just hate waiting all year for this and see my team be irrelevant after 4 weeks.

Both our corners are shrimps and would get abused playing press coverage. And Brent Grimes excels in off coverage. Reshad Jones is basically our 4th linebacker, leaving a deep safety in Aikens that isn't very good to begin with as the only thing left if the corners get beat. Jamar Taylor is the only one of our corners that does press, and he has been getting called for holding far too often.
Then let Grimes shadow the fastest receiver or best reciever and let jamar learn. Mcain is giving up easy throws. Not only are they easy it allows guys live Tyrod to know where to go presnap. McCain would probably be better at free safety ' I know he is little but he would have better range then Aikens. Put the other Mcain at nickel. I know Lippet can't be ready yet. Maybe Bowman? Lol this is sad. Preseason we looked like world beaters.

Tannehill being in shotgun every play is annoying. We had success running the ball at of shotgun last year but that's not going to work this year because teams adjusted to it. Need to run single back more ofter. Even mix a TE up back there. Were a very predictable offence right now

Preaching to the choir. On all those 3 and x you knew they were going to Harvin against McCain. So why not force the Qb to think a little harder. I don't know a play a bracket coverage on Harvin. You know one guy in his belly to Jam him and another guy over top. Nawh, not Coyle I'd rather watch one guy destroy our defense.
