Previewing Miami Dolphins free agents

The Miami Dolphins (8-7) are entering the great unknown during their regular-season finale. It could be their final game of the season or lead into a wild-card game if the Dolphins get some help.

With that said, let’s take a look at eight key Dolphins who are entering free agency and may play their final game with the team Sunday against the New York Jets (7-8).

Of those I'd say Grimes is a must, one of the two DTs, and McKinnie for cheap. The rest can go, maybe if you let the rest leave you can keep both DT.
 
Grimes, Carroll and Clemons I would bring back. One of the two DT's would be nice.

A new GM changes all of this.

Terrible FA class over all in the league.
 
I want Clemons back. Does anyone really trust R.Jones back there on his own? What a disappointment.
 
Brandon Albert is a must sign. Don't **** it up this year Jeffrey.
 
sign carroll & clemmos to one year (tell them they are tied to philbin)
grimes to large deal
Soliai to 3yrs

get Ben tate & the KC LT in FA.

trade down in draft with SF. Take the Washington TE. get S. Henderson for RT, Steen for G 2nd rd. both.
 
I kind of prefer Starks to Soliai, but one or the other is a must. Grimes, Carroll, and Clemons should all be resigned as well.

Our defense is the strength of this team and has consistently played well for most of the season. We have improved as a defense from last year and another year would only allow this group to get better.
 
The way our overated defense has played this year I only care about bringing back Grimes. Starks and Soliai have not been all that great this year and the rest are back ups only starting cause we have nobody else. I know someone it's going to tell me how our defense it's great and it's all the offense's fault. Our defense it's just average. Great defenses don't need a great offense. The Giants and Bears of the 80's come to mind. The ravens too. They never blamed the offense. They just went out there and allowed less points than their offense would score.

its high powered offenses that make an avg. defense winners on a consistant basis. the game has changed a lot since those days and point me to any team that has a great defense all year long like the 85 bears or 72 dolphins. they don't exist much anymore.
 
I believe I mention the ravens. I agree things have change tho but if you keep the other team from scoring more points than your offense then you win the game. The bills just ran all over us even tho they were missing their QB and top 3 receivers so we knew they were going to run and we still couldn't stop them. Nobody can spin that. I'm not saying we have the worst defense in the NFL but this is not a top 10 defense this year.There's only been ONE player on our defense who's been consisten all year long and that is Grimes. Everyone else has been up and down, even Wake tho I know he was hurt earlier.

Gone: Clabo, McKinnie, Incognito, Patterson, Starks, Soliai. That's a lot of money.

Resign: Grimes, Clemons, Carroll. Could bring back Jerry.

Sign: Anthony Collins T (or Albert), Jason Fox T, Jon Asamoah G (Travelle Wharton?).

Draft: Defensive tackles. There are plenty in the draft.
