Love this part:
Love this part:
When you watch tape, Suh collapses the pocket and make it easier for others to get sacks. He had 8 1/2 sacks last season, but he always seemed to be in the backfield and was credited with a ton of pressures.
There were times where it seemed he couldn't be blocked. Even when teams did a solid job on him -- like Green Bay in the final week -- the tape told the story that it wasn't nearly as good as you thought. Suh made his share of plays that normal defensive players couldn't make in that game.
Yes, Suh has had some issues with penalties and fines and personal fouls. And he can be difficult at times, but the value is there when you watch his tape. There are few game-changers in the NFL on defense.
Miami landed one with Suh, which is why this isn't Albert Haynesworth all over again. When the Redskins loaded up to pay Haynesworth, he had dog in his game. That played out. The same can't be said for Suh.
He plays hard. Watch him run down plays from behind when his team is trailing and tell me there is dog in his game.
One more thing: He's nasty. Every defense needs nasty. Miami needed it in a big way, which is why Suh makes sense -- no matter the price.
