Not a bad read from Pissco, despite showing alot of bias to the Patsies.

Colorado Dolfan said:Yeah, that's the theory from ThePats... :rolleyes2
NE is ripe for the picking
every sports publisher is picking the dolphins to winthe east.
Its a lock for us (Miami) to win the east
NE is on the downslide
We have more talent
yada yada yada
The Dolphins will be an improved team, which is why many think they're ready to push the Patriots. But they have too many issues; the offensive line is so-so, the second-receiver spot isn't great
FaninPatsyLand said:I thought it was an okay article, especially considering the source. I did have a pretty good chuckle at this statement though. In listing off the reasons why the Dolphins wouldn't overtake the Pats this year Prisco goes on to say:
It doesn't sound totally ridiculous until you take into account what the Patriots recieving core looks like. Reche Caldwell could legitimately be their best WR if the Branch saga continues.
I just thought that was priceless..
MR NFLFAN said:Well if you continue on to where they name the WR's NE had on the team those years we won the SB it kind of puts it into perspective. Ever heard of Freddie Colman before 01? Yet he was good enough to help the team to its first SB win. How about Jermaine Wiggins...wasn't exaclty on everyones draft sheet that year either. JR Redmon, David Patten or how about Antowain Smith how are those for virutal unknowns that flew under the radar. Who's to sit here and say that Caldwell can't be the next american idol? With Brady at the wheel spreading the ball around who's in the first spot isn't as important as the other 7 or 8 spots because they will all get their throws and nobody spreads it around like NE does. Its much easier to focus on a #1 guy and eliminate him from the game plan and if you have nothing behind him your in trouble but try taking out 5,6, or 7 guys.
MR NFLFAN said:No thats the argument I've heard here from fins fans all across this board.

Need I go look for one from you too? I'm sure there is one out there.
ThePats said:Once again the 3 Time defending AFC East champions, the New England Patriots get no respect by anybody. Suddenly everyone thinks the "Fins" are the AFC East champs and people wont hesitate to crown them the champs before the season starts. Keep talking all you want, the Pats will use this to drive themselves to another AFC East title.
ThePats said:What planet have you been on? 1/4 of all the analysts out there will say the Patriots, 3/4 of them will say the Dolphins.
