Who do you guys think deseves the Pro Bowl for us???

I say Porter obviously.

Chad deserves it, I mean he has tripled our win total from last year. Haha, but in all seriousness he has really played well and efficient in most games, he really has some of the better numbers in football.

Ronnie could do it, he has 7 rush TDs, granted 4 rushing came in one game, but if he can score about 6 more the rest of the year he has a chance.

thats all ive got haha

I think you may be dead on. Porter, Penny, Ronnie. We may have one or two from the Oline as well, as they have been a big part of our improvement.

I wonder if Langford has an outside shot?

Also, on a related note, Probowl voting has begun, so get in there and help out our Phins! You can vote as many times as you like.

Chad won't get the nod because he doesn't get respect. If Farve had the same numbers as Chad, he'd be in no problem. Probably be a riot if he didn't.

One or two on the O line is a possibility. It's always a crapshoot who gets picked from there so it's hard to tell and the only one with any name recognition outside of Miami is Jake Long since he was the top pick. Doubt he gets the nod since people don't like putting rookies in whether or not they deserve it.

I honestly think:

JP is a lock right now
Chad P will make it (who is better right now? Maybe Rivers and Ben Roth . . . maybe, thaz about it)

Ronnie has a chance, especially in the AFC . . . I mean even tho he has been pedestrian the last few weeks, the AFC is weak right now in the RB department . . . u know LT will make it, regardless of his slow start . . . . but outside of that I mean no one sticks out over the other.

Justin Smiley and Jake Long both have outside chances as well.

If Ginn were to pull off a Chambers like second half, he may be in or at least as a backup. Alot has to happen still but its still way early.

Jpeasy
Chad will get in if he stays consistant and we win big in second half
Jake Long could make it-more long shot right now but he is getting respect.
Ronnie B if he also gets big second half.

That would be about it though. Maybe Justin Smiley. He has been playing great ball.

If Peyton Manning starts turning things around... Then Chad doesnt have a shot...

-Phillip Rivers
-Jay Cutler
-?

Ronnie has no chance in hell. He had one good game running a gimmick formation against a team that had never seen it, therefore never gameplanned against it. He has been **** in the rest of the games averaging 3.5ypc.

I believe Jake Long is leading the entire AFC in fan voting for the Pro Bowl...and when you look at the field of LTs in the conference, you can understand why.

Remember what Clarence Brooks, the Baltimore DL coach, said about Jake Long after the Baltimore game. In their game planning, the Ravens considered Jake Long to be better than Joe Thomas. They said he was equal to Thomas in pass protection, and far ahead of Thomas in run blocking. This is a team that had faced Joe Thomas three times by the time they played against Jake Long, and Terrell Suggs after the game said he has never struggled against a Left Tackle the way he struggled against Jake Long.

The best LT in the AFC should by all means be Jason Peters, but he has struggled after his holdout and he allowed that Joey Porter sack/safety.

I think Jake Long has been a bit more consistent than Jason Peters. Jake long has performed well in 90 percent of his staps through this season. A great feat by a rookie nevertheless.

I agree. With Ogden retired and Peters and Thomas not really doing a whole lot so far, Jake is actually the best LT in the AFC this season (based on play, not necessarily ability). The Tennessee guy and Marcus McNiel from San Diego are really his only competition. Maybe Clady from Denver as well.

I like Jake Long and maybe he will deserve it but he is only high up there because most fans dont have anyway to judge olinemen and vote for a name they know. As the top pick in the draft they know him.
