Hey dolfans I was Wondering who do you guys think will make the probowl in the 2006-07 season from your Miami Dolphins

:dolphins: :dolphins: MIAMI DOLPHINS :dolphins: :dolphins:

Well i think JT and Zach are a lock, Maybe chambers, Crowder, C-pep,And hopefully ronnie

Only if c-pep get all right, he will do, ronnie, zach , jason, chambers,......and the surprise could be........." jason allen" maybe its a dream but it would be nice hehe

Dude, you're totally on pace to smash the record for number of thread titles with seven exclamation marks at the end of them!

!!!!!!

LOL, just havin fun with ya. If I had to guess I'd say Ronnie Brown has a chance. Larry Johnson and LaDainian Tomlinson are stiff competition but I believe 3 runners can go to the pro bowl, right? Anyway Shaun Alexander is in the NFC and Edgerrin James just got moved to the NFC. So, all in all, I think Ronnie has to be a pre-season favorite to be the 3rd tailback on the AFC Pro Bowl squad. His main competition should be Lamont Jordan, Rudi Johnson, MAYBE Willie Parker...I dunno.

Chris Chambers could go back for his second straight year, definitely.

I forget how many TEs go, just 2? If just two then McMichael has stiff competition because of Gonzales, Heap, and Gates, plus everyone is abuzz about Ben Watson being about to take his place among the elites. The AFC just has so many more elite TEs than the NFC. Heck Marcedes Lewis should be good for the Jags, Kellen Winslow Jr. is a nice wildcard, Dallas Baker is fast as heck on the Colts and keeps flashing uber-talent, the Titans have Ben Troupe and if Vince Young plays a lot then Troupe will probably have a ton of catches.

Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas are as likely as ever.

Troy Polamalu pretty much has one safety spot locked up always. Ed Reed has another. I could see guys like Michael Huff, Donte Whitner, Jason Allen, Bob Sanders, and Donovan Darius duking it out for two more safety spots. Are there 4 pro bowl safeties? Or just 3?

Those are about it. Fred Beasley could go too I suppose. Someone asked if any of our OL were likely to go but the only one that could possibly go IMO is maybe Jeno James if he has a really good year.

I think Culpepper is going to be hard-pressed to make a pro bowl in his first year. He has alot of competition in the AFC-
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Carson Palmer (if he's healthy)
Ben Roethlisberger
Steve McNair
etc etc

I'm not saying all of these guys are better, but the 1st three I would take over Daunte any day of the week if they're all healthy, Pep included. Those 1st three are probably the 3 best QB's in the game right now. I think we could see Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas and that may be it. I think Chambers is a possibility as well, but who knows how long it'll take for him and Pep to get some consistency going.

And I think Ronnie Brown is a maybe

Culpepper being in the pro bowl is a long shot.

Do you not think that Hadnot has a better chance than James. Personally I dont see any of our O line going to the Pro Bowl.

I do think we will have a solid year though, and I do see zach or RB going to the PB. With all the changes in coaching etc, I dont know if JT will go or not, but again, I think he will also have another solid season. In my book he will probably be good enough to go, but you Americans like your stats, and he may not pick up enough sacks or fumbles to make it, which IMO is how people are picked---usually :D

Well, remember that the Pro Bowl is about being the best in the conference. In the case of Hadnot the AFC just brought over one heck of a center in LeCharles Bentley. If he's not in the pro bowl in 2006 I think Browns fans should be rightfully disappointed. Also, Kevin Mawae has gone through a team transition and is out to prove he can still play at an elite level. He's an elite performer too, so I really do believe he'll elevate his game play...but even more importantly he'll get a lot of sentimental votes to kind of give him one last dance. Sort of the Nate Newton effect.

Roethlisberger won't deserve because he isn't an individual stat guy. He doesn't really have that great of numbers, he just wins. McNair is not as good as ESPN is hyping him to be. I'd say this lis the list he will be competing with:

Tom Brady
Carson Palmer
Peyton Manning
Byron Leftwhich
Trent Green
Jake Plummer

IMO, only Brady, Palmer and Manning are better QBs than Culpepper. But hopefully Pepper can have a better year than one of those 3.

Are you sort of saying that players who have just moved teams, especially high profile players, are considered before others, or just that they are in the limelight at the time, so watched to see how they will fair----Or of course neither.

My personal opinion of how players are voted to the PB is that it is fabricated to please, rather than the players being there on merit. I remember back in the early 80 's that I thought that on merit D Betters should have been voted D player of the year (AFC), but he wasn't, and damn I cant remember who beat him now. But I am sure someone out there knows?

I won't predict about anyone else, because there are always players you don't expect that rise up.

But I will stick to my guns and my lone prediction from the beginning of the offseason.

Ronnie Brown is going to the Pro Bowl in 2006/2007.
