I have seen many variations of projections and would like to get a consensus of everyone's thoughts on this.

Drake will get the bulk of the carries of course but I also think that Gore will get a hefty chunk as well. Somewhere around: Drake 55% Gore 40% Ballage 5%.

I don’t think drake isn’t gonna touch what must would call “workhorse” territory (think DJ, leveon, Gurley, zeke), but I believe this is his backfield. As long as he picks up where he left off last year, there isn’t a rational coach in the game that’s gonna pull him off the field and give him less than 200 touches. Gore will get his share of carries spelling Drake, but I don’t see him challenging drake for anything if drake is playing like what we saw last year.

I LOVE the ballage pick, I posted in the draft forum after the senior bowl that he caught my eye. Was ecstatic when we actually picked him, but I don’t think his role is gonna be carved out this year. He’ll see some goal line work I’m sure, but his future w/ this team lies ahead of this year imo

I went with 65-30-5

In 2016 we had 405 team carries. If we split that according to these ratios Drake would have around 260 and Gore around 121. Gore had 261 last year which is good for 8th in the NFL. I think i'd take that.

Before Damien Williams went out with an injury he was in some games getting more carries than Drake was. Gore was not brought here to sit on the bench. If drake gets 175 carries, I would expect Gore to get 125-150.

Are we just talking in the Titans opener? For that I would say Drake 50 Gore 25 and Ballage 25.

For anything further out or the whole season it'll obviously depend on other factors. When does Gore fall off the production cliff if at all this year and how balling is Balliage? If Ballage is pushing Gore and able to be that dominant power running beast like we're already getting a sense of, all cards could be out the window.

That's a tough one. So much depends on who's got the hot hand in any given game. Drake will be the starter and i think he'll get the majority but i believe gore could end up with more TD's.
55-40-5 seems like the most likely scenario.

The assumption is for the entire season based on what we know now and all three being healthy.

I'm surprised you give Ballage the same amount of carries as Gore in the Titans opener. Also, why do you assume that Gore's production will fall off a cliff?

Is this Drake's 3rd year? He would be getting the most carries. But I doubt Gase/Loggains etc have anything specific in mind with the number of carries. Go the hot hand, rotate where needed. Im a firm believer in if you draft a guy, and you see things in pre season that you notice and figure this guy can make a play, why wouldn't you give him carries? If Ballage shows enough in pre season he should get snaps at least. Gore is 36? From a tactical perspective, Im sure the coaches want to create mismatches and show certain plays to expose the opponents scheme/personnel.

My numbers are Drake 220 carries Gore 120 Ballage 75
