The Dolphins ranked dead last in the league in pass plays last season, as Ryan Tannehill finished 27th in fantasy points and 28th in pass attempts among quarterbacks (minimum 12 games). That was the worst rank any quarterback has had under the watch of coach Adam Gase since 2013. ... Tannehill averaged just over 14 fantasy points per game, which would have projected to around 232 points over a full season. That would have been less than Flacco (242.8), who finished 20th. ... On a positive note, Tannehill did finish with career highs in completion percentage (67.1), yards per pass attempt (7.7) and quarterback rating (93.5) under Gase before suffering an injured knee (Week 14).

Tannehill was really good in reality football last season. be sure to watch him this year.

The fantasy pts ranking means squat, not because its fantasy, but because he didnt play 16 games...he was actually a decent fantasy QB when healthy.


I expect big things from Tanny and the offense in 2017...to where the terms "formidable" and "high octane" may be used to describe it during a broadcast or two.
