people welker had 97 catches his last year in college that is crazy he was top 5 in division 1-a i believe , so it shows that he has good hands ,
he is definitely our 3rd wr if booker doesnt show consistency i saw put welker at 2nd wr and booker at the slot and see what happens.
who ever says welker cant play wr is an idiot, welker takes hits and comes down with the ball something chambers doesnt do.

how in the world did wanny sign him...
 
Yea he was cut from chargers and we picked him up..
 
who doubted his receiving skils in the first place? so far this season, hes the best receiver we have.

He's nothing more than a slot reciever. If you put him at X or Z, he would go unnoticed. Listen I like Welker, but some of you are getting a little carried away with your expectations. Just be happy you are getting this out of him
 
Welker is our version of Wayne Chrebet, I've said it all along. He is the kind of player that doesn't fit anyone's mold, but plays with so much heart and guts he just gets it done, game after game. Definitely my favorite player on the Dolphins.

First off, did you miss the Steelers game? When Booker went out, and Wes stepped up...only caught Cpep's longest completion of the year.

This kind of talk is the same BS like when everyone was thinking Wes would get cut.

Just wait, Booker is teetering along the line of pretending to get hurt...watch who takes his spot, just watch.

very true.
But you have to give him credit for stepping up when we need him. His already caught half as many catches as he did last year.
 
Who has ever said anything bad about Welker? We know what we're getting out of him, and that's a solid football player.

Yeah, Speilman made a few good moves too although this one was a no brainer. We had an absolutely horrible returner at the time in Brightful, and the Chargers had just cut the ncaa record holder for career punt return yards and I believe he is also the career punt returned for a TD record holder. Nonetheless, thank you to Rick Spielman for the find!
