He says that Miami is alot better team then people have given them credit for. He said we have a quality qb, good Rb, good Wrs and a great Defense. He says he doesnt see what else you could ask for in a team. Finally someone in the media who actually looks at the whole picture.

Yea, I just saw that too. When we win a few more games a lot more analysts will be on the Miami Bandwagon. :rofl3:

I think alot of fans on this board knew we were better than last year, but with a new system, coaches and players we weren't sure how much better.

Big deal. They all thought Tampa would go 4-12 this year. Hindsight is 20/20.

See that's kinda the point though, all the mainstream media THINK they know a team but the fans tend to have a better feel for their team than outside media do.

Its nice to see some other football/media people recognizing the quality team that Miami has. However, I'm not sure I fully agree with Mike Dikta's assessment of our QB. Gus is adequate not quality.

I still think this is funny, as he was pretty much bashing us the morning of opening day on ESPN radio. When I say "bashing" I mean, he was bashing our QB quality and chances for this year, while stating that Saban will get us right eventually.

The national media always follows the latest big story. We have the potential - at least - to be that latest big story.

Yeah, and it's kinda funny how some people don't even listen to the comment, because right after Mike mentioned that yesterday's game to him was more Miami being the better team than it is Carolina not playing up to it's ability, and Trey Wingo still turns to Eric Allen and states that Carolina let the game "Slip away".. Did they EVER have the lead in this game? No? Ok, thanks! Case closed. You can't let a game slip away that you never had in your grasp...

I like our team but we could definitely use a better QB (Frerotte is okay but a bit inconsistant) and our CBs could be better but overall we have a good team
