With pretty much this whole board crying after the win, i figured id start this thread.
Can anyone else agree with me that we are getting better every week or is it just me? These post about culpepper hanging it up, saban going back to college, are you kidding me?
Yes we have a long way to go, but the teams is starting to click. Everyone bashing on culpepper is insane to me, fist look at how quick he got back on the field after surgery, and now look at his improvement after every week. You can tell hes getting more confident after each game, hes starting to take charge of the team and click with the recievers. That TD run meant a lot to him im sure, gaining alittle more trust in himself, i know it meant a lot to me. He still has work to be done, and im sure the team and himself understand that.
The online is still garbage, but did play better, the recievers are still dropping a few balls, but not as much, and ronnie is well, ronnie, no complaints there. The secondary seems to be jellling alittle more, first game daniels is back (and thank god). Once culpepper gets his confidence back (which will include line getting better) i believe we are fine. People need to calm down alittle.
Next sunday cant come soon enough, lets go phins

I didn't get to see the game unfortunately but the consensus seems to be that the playcalling did improve because Ronnie got the ball more. Daunte didn't throw a pick, that's a big plus too.

The Buffalo game was not an improvement over the Pittsburgh game.

We were in the Pittsburgh game until late in the fourth when-- after a crucial defensive breakdown-- Culpepper's night goes to hell and he throws two INTs.

The Buffalo game was at home, in the heat of the summer, against a team that didn't just win the Super Bowl. And they almost shut us out.

Week 2 was a big step back, and Week 3 is a big meh. If the Dolphins had played as poorly in Pittsburgh as they have at home in the last two weeks, Pittsburgh would have stomped us.

Though the win was neither pretty or convincing, it is still a 'win' and ultimately that's what counts. It will, hopefully, give the team a little confidence and swagger going into next week. With the Patsies losing last night the AFC East is still wide open, and at this point, it's any teams division to take.

Let's just hope we take it.

You obviously aren't very educated in football. We look terrible, yes...even terrible yesterday verse one of the worst teams in the league.

Hey, they got the win......now lets see if that lifts a burden off their shoulders and they go out and play loose next week

Pepper does need to bring his game up a level (He is better then what he has shown so far, he is playing to tight, he looks a little nervous out there), the O-line needs to start actually blocking, but this team can get much better, and people do need to stop complaining.

We are only one game from 1st, and once this team get in together, this team cen be pretty dangerous, and do plenty of damage....our season is not over by a long shot.

You know what, you aren't too educated in football either. This league has the best players and coaches available. Any NFL team can pull it together and win a game. It's attitude and execution.

Everyone thinks the Panther are the best team in football, and they barely squeeked out a win against a struggling Bucs team yesterday.

In the NFL, it's not about ratings. It's about execution and attitude.

Here's hoping this win, ugly as it was, helps us take a giant step in the right direction. Hopefully against the Texans next week we can take another giant step. We will need those big steps forward if we want to seriously challange the Patriots in week 4 (even though the Pats haven't been looking as dominant lately).

Wow...you showed me with that reply of absolutely zero sense compared to us and the original question. :rolleyes2

Go back to sleep, don't forget your rose colored eye blinders. And remove the statement under your username if you aren't going to take the advice.

Hey, I feel worried about this team just like the rest, but again, this arguement that says, "We barely beat the worst team in the league" is shallow. Next week, if we demolish the Texans, will the response be, "They suck, we should have..."

Just like Jason Taylor said, "Pittsburgh is 1-2 and everyone was singing their praises at the start of the season."

It's a process. Righ now, it could be argued that the talent on our team is more on the Offensive side. We have a lot of weapons there, but execution is failing right now. Yet, there were things that happened yesterday (on offense) that won us the game (Ronnie's run and Wes's 3rd and 8).

I still believe the process will prove itself and this team strong.

I love blind homers, been reading these same replies for about 4 years now.

Contrary to what most of the optimistic homers want to believe. And the fear to question Saban. Based on actual results and look, our team hasn't changed one bit in 4-5 years. We still perform the same way on offense, and defense.
