I read all this love for Pennington and all this love for Joey, but the real difference IMO is the coaching staff. Sure the players are making the plays, but it's because of the gameplan, film study and flat out coaching ability. The Cowboys won 13 games last year with much of the staff we have this year. TS is a pretty damn good football coach.

After years of DW, Satan and last years laughing stock, we finally have a staff that undertands how to maximize their personnel. We didn't have to be a 1-15 team last year, clearly we had enough talent to be better, we were just so poorly coached. There is no way we should have won the division with the players we have this year, but we're so well coached we are able to win games we shouldn't. Could you imagine this team in two or three years?

No matter what happens the rest of the way we've been witness to one of the best coaching jobs in the history of the game. Look at the records
that have fallen at the hands of this staff. It's been truly a beautiful season to watch unfold.

We have the best TO ratio, because of coaching, we have the best single season turnaround because of coaching, we have the comeback player of the year because of coaching, we have a division title because of coaching, we have a or first playoff game and home game since the early part of this decade. We have a college play that has been inserted and produced some of the most exciting and explosive plays of the year because of coaching.

Lets not forget where this all began, BP said this was his last shot at the brass ring. Do any of you think this wasn't planned? Just because it's tough to do doesn't mean it's impossible. We owe so much gratitude to this staff, if we can sit through 16 games and cry and whine cause we win just one game and blame the staff for the pain, we sure as hell need to spend just as much energy praising the real reason for the success we've enjoyed this season.

There is some other people who deserve some props too. How about Jeff Ireland and the rest of the scouting department! These guys have been out there all year finding talent and bringing more guys in nearly every week! How many roster moves have we made during the season? These guys have been busy. Parcells seems to get the props for all the guys we've brought in and he obviously deserves alot of it, but Ireland and his staff have done a hell of a job all year!:woot:

I agree, this is so much bigger thn the players. I think Jeff Ireland made a few mistakes, like the Ernest Wilford signing, but he's young and learning. However turnning the bottom of this roster weekly has produced for us like the FB position, which I'm thrilled with. This season has been a joy to watch.

Really, the way things are and the way the entire coaching staff and front office have performed, I can't wait to see what they'll do for an encore. We are only at the beginning of this and it is going to be fun to watch!

Man I hope so.

Coaching staff, front office, owners, and players have all contributed to the success this season. Kudos to all involved!
