The following seven players were on the practice field today, apparently after being signed to the practice squad:
WR/QB Marcus Vick
RB Gerald Riggs, Jr.
RB Kay-Jay Harris
LB Matt Sinclair
OT Orrin Thompson
CB Shirdonya Mitchell
WR Fred Gibson

There was also an extra offensive lineman wearing No. 64 who appears to have filled the Dolphins' vacancy on the active roster. The Dolphins have not yet released his name. He is a center/guard.

That means the Dolphins may have only claimed an offensive lineman, not a running back. Of course, a running back could have been claimed and is just traveling to Davie. Dolphins coach Nick Saban will not release any moves until his press conference following practice, at 2:45 p.m.

I was also thinking he could be on the practice squad not the active roster. Hopefully Nick will fill us in soon!!

Based on the position and the number I would guess Ben Wilkerson released by Cincinnati.
