I knew this place would be in panic mode if we lost to Tampa or Buffalo, but you people are crazy. Did anyone else notice every team who was ahead of us in the playoff race lost as as well yesterday? We are virtually in the same spot we were in before the Buffalo game except there is no chance we can tie New England next Sunday.

Yes, I know the Dolphins looked stupid yesterday, but what did everyone expect out of this team this season? We are a very young team that had to play the hardest schedule in the NFL. If you expected anything more than a .500 season you very quite optomistic.

We imploded on the road late in the season with every leader of this football team on the IR. More than any stat they could have added yesterday it was obvious this team missed the vet leadership a Ferguson, Allen, Brown, Groove, and Pennington, to stop them from imploding.

Now we get to see what kind of team we have. Every team out side of the '72 Fin had a major let down against a team they should have defeated. A poor football team and a poorly coached football team will quit and let the season escape. A good team and well coached team will pick them selves up and save the anger for the next game.

I agree Paul needs to be fired as DC and Ginn needs to be benched if not released, but both of those statements were true before yesterday. When your defense is last in 4th quarter points allowed through 3/4 of the season it is pretty obvious something needs to be done. When your #1 WR has dropped more passes than he has caught then again it is something that needs to be addressed in the offseason.

We are not in the same spot as yesterday. By losing to Buffalo we lost the tie breaker to New England if by some chance we pull that game off. Even if New England loses tonight we still lost a game on them.

Porter, Taylor, Bell. They are not youngsters and are supposed to be leaders. If not they step in and become a leader. That's what happens when leaders go down. Someone steps in.

I have killed for less! We lost our starting NT, CB, QB, C, and RB. Name one team in the NFL who would be competitive if they had the same misfortune. The patriots lost just one of those elements last year, and did not make the playoffs last year. Carson Palmer missed last season and the Bengals returned to the Bungles. I know we all like Chad Henne as a future franchise QB, but he is night and Pennington was day. Everything our offense does in the passing game had to change when he went out. Then Brown goes down killing the wild cat. I have said it 100 times thus far I am excited we are keeping things interesting this season, but next year we can field a true threat. Last year and this year it was all about over achivers.
