Remember at the start if the season when every publication had us as the worst team in the league? Most of us on here, myself included were indignant over it. Well guess what, they were correct. We just couldn't see it with our rose colored glasses. Color me blind. I dont know how the heck I saw 12 wins out of this team. I apologize. Fell for it again. Classic definition of insanity. Every year I fall for it.

Ross, is that you??

Well, in fairness, many of those "pundits" had us at 2-14. We will probably finish around .500, so wrong.

If you saw 12 wins, then you were just as extreme as they were.

If you saw 12 wins from a team starting 2 rookie LBers, significant playing time for another rookie DB (Minka), two second year, low round DTs, a QB coming of 19 months of rehab, an O-line that was still questionable on the interior and lacked depth at OT?

Did I miss anything?

The Giants are worse- they weren’t looking to smart when we were 3-0 before being ravished by injuries. On pace for about a .500 season.... depending on more injuries and QB play.

We aren't as bad as they were expecting, which is worse than a meaningless 6-8 wins.

Ok maybe not 12,but definitely saw at least a playoff team. With improved coaching we should be 5 -2 at worst. Didn't think we would have regression in coaching. I mean the coach said that he was building a culture and he felt he had the right pieces. Who am I to argue. We were hot out the gates. I was all in

We are 4-4 right now, 2nd place in the AFC east. We are a week removed from beating the Bears, with the 2nd best defense. There are 4 teams out there with 1 win, with no signs of life. Explain how we are the worst in the NFL.

We could lose every game from here and still not pick till like 5- that’s how bad some of those teams look. Lol

We better get it right if we want that hot QB in 2020, will need to make sure we have zero wins next year.

I never thought we'd get 12 wins.....I actually felt that if everything went right(Tannehill having a good season, rookies doing well, Quinn kicking butt)we could get 10 wins. To be fair the injuries have hurt us a lot but at the same time we do have a lot of holes and at this point I see us with maybe 6 to 7 wins if EVERYTHING goes right from here on out.

Is that the course you prefer?

I'm not in for tanking games, but looking at things one year at a time is never going to get us to the next level.

There are so many variables to consider with a plan like that.

Do you keep Gase, cut 17 for cap room while you bide your time, perfecting the offense, drafting players until the Savior arrives? That us almost a roll of the dice, hoping to hit on the right guy.

Sadly, you weren't alone. The offseason is a cruel mistress. Makes people delusional. Like they've been stranded in the desert. They start hallucinating. Seeing things that cant possibly be real. Case in point, look at the majority of votes in this thread

I'll brag a lil here, i voted 6-10. Right on the money if u ask me.
Yea you are right. I was delusional. I am delusional every year man. I know I am being unrealistic and setting up myself up for failure
