putting draft picks in perspective

I am watching a docu. on tom brady and they were talking about the pats draft that year. although they struck gold in the 6th with Brady, BB was hesitant to take him and so were the rest of the coaches/management. its not like they new precisly what would happen, and 4 or 5 of the picks they grabbed in higher rounds amounted to NOTHING. i just thought it could be put into perspective in comparrison with some of our flops/gems that no one is a bonified genius with these things - not even the glorified Bill B. its alotta luck too.
