I was pulling for Brown and Bigby. These latest round of moves are surprising on one end, given you thought Bigby would at least have a shot in training camp. With the cut of Haw, Miami only has a handful of corners.

Daniels, Madison, Edwards, Howard and Roundtree

That is it. I expect there will be some more moves before tomorrow.

Farmer is a curious move.

are you the one who made a post yesterday saying that brown and bigby would be surprises this year?

With Bigby getting cut maybe it means schulters is closer to signing? Its either that or the fact that Bibgy may not have been able to cut the mustard

I was

and I was wrong. Can't go on everything you read about players. Will not be the last players I am wrong about either. Comes with being a fan and not a coach.

haha it doesn't matter. i was just wondering. Kind of ironic really. Someone else was REALLY going on about vann brown on here too the other day.

No, I think the real news is the players put on PUP. Is this just for camp, or will they miss the first 6 games of the season?

Akins we've heard nothing about. Chester missing the beginning of camp isnt a huge surprise. Eddie Moore is new, and not particularly surprising. Will Poole is on IR.

Tony Pape didnt show up?

Taking 5 healthy corners into camp is pretty interesting to me

Either someone like Elam or Eiland is being converted, or there will be additional moves. You can't practice well with that number.

I think it's not applicable to regular season. Something funny is going on there with Eddie Moore, Chris Aiken and Chester.

Unless the player is on the PUP at the beginning of the season, he is not forced to miss 6 games. He can be on the PUP anytime during the preseason and not miss any games.

Eiland has been coverted to CB or atleast thats where he worked in the Minicamps.

Any chance this allows us more people in camp? Is there a finite nuber allowed or a cap?

That's what I was wondering. Aiken & Moore both practiced at the mini-camps.

I always am puzzled why when a undrafted rookie is cut during
or shortly after mini camp people are puzzled by it.

The guy was undrafted which usually but not always means
they stink. Some get a shot anyway and during mini camp
are observed, filmed ect by the team (coaches, scouts)
and they then see they stink and cut them.

Why do some fans then get surprised ? How can you know
more then the team ?

This is the exact question I posted before. I'm confused as to why some of these guys were put on PUP.

Akins and Moore did practice, and Chester was re-habbing.

Maybe it's just precautionary to give them more time until they come back full speed?

If you look at the number of undrafted free agents that are in the league...

You would be surprised. I agree with the process you speak of. It really is more disappointment than surprise I would say. Guys on this board tend to pull for certain underdogs.
