Q&A with Marcus Vick

good post...with hagan dropping all of these passes why not put vick in on some packages...if anything it would open up some possible trick plays we could use him like randle el is used....just a suggestion

i mean, we brought him in, and kept him. We must think he has SOMETHING to offer, why not play him?

My only fear is that WHEN he becomes succesfull he's going to resort to his punkass ways. Sort of like he's just buying his time now, staying under the radar so he can get the bucks. I really hope not though.

Q: How much time are you seeing at quarterback these days?
A: I'm not really seeing any time at quarterback, actually. I really only play quarterback if we're going up against Vince Young or any other black quarterback. They'll put me back there and let me scramble around on the scout team. But I'm playing all receiver right now.

Q: Have you ever been asked to mimic a white quarterback for the scout team?
A: No, never. Not once. [Laughing.]

Is this true

Has anyone heard anything on this:

FINS FOR SALE
Our Florida sources have tipped us off to a looming development that, in our view, makes Dolphins coach Nick Saban's disinterested interest in the Alabama job understandable.
The Fins, as we hear it, are in the process of being sold.
Per a source with knowledge of the transaction, advertising executive Jordan Zimmerman, a co-owner of the NHL's Florida Panthers, will become majority owner of the Dolphins.
Also involved in the new ownership will be Papa John's founder John Schnatter.
Since it was Huizenga who hired Saban, Saban might be interested in keeping his options open. And that's why, we believe, Saban declined an opportunity (when pressed by Peter King of SI) to state unequivocally that he will not under any circumstances pursue the Alabama job. Saban, in our opinion, will be looking for either an extension from the new ownership, or a ticket out of town.

he's like black qb like saying al black qb's scramble, lol thats a dumb answer he had to say scrambling or mobile qb,in another way i think he tried to say all black qb's suck.

Also the guy asking said white qb? lol wtf, just cause your white doesn't mean you sit on the pocket all day, john elway steve young, so yea theyre judging play styles by race which is ****ing stupid.

Whats funnier/sadder, who knows, is that it isnt Vick that made the distinction. It is the way practice is run. He has never stood in for a white qb. We are facing a decently mobile qb this weekend in Losman, but they have some white guy pretending to be him I guess.

I do appreciate the honesty though and not the pc answer.

Did anyone else notice that he was on the sideline next to the coach, holding the clipboard, and wearing a headset. This is typically what the backup QBs do... isn't it?

Until DC was placed on IR and Shane Matthews signed, Vick WAS the #3 QB and rules dictate that when you are a QB you cannot play another position.
