Well, even if we didn't have a QB controversy we may have one now. As posted on PFT:
"On Saturday, Sparano may have unintentionally, or otherwise, put his starting quarterback job in play.
Asked whether there’s a battle at the position between
Chad Henne and
Matt Moore after one preseason game, Sparano said, “I mean I wouldn’t say there is a battle right at this second. To me it takes more than a few outings, couple practices any of those things. But I mean I thought Matt [Moore] did some good things [on Friday night against the Falcons]. I mean on the surface it’s going to look like Matt did way more good things than Chad maybe, I guess to your eye but there was enough things in there to Matt’s 36 plays I believe it was that needed to be corrected as well.”
Sparano is a tool. While there will always be controversies coming up, the Head Coach should be the one diffusing them NOT creating them. Never mind the X's & O's, playcalling, time management, etc (all of which he sucks at), he has no idea how to act, speak or handle himself as a Head Coach. Listening to him makes me want to pour boiling wax in my ears to prevent any chance of having to be party to his idiotic speeches & way of talking. If you review/watch any of his pressers he always talks in a disjointed, confusing & scatterbrained manner bordering on being nonsensical. Hopefully, this will be the last year of this dope and we will get someone who knows how to speak & carry himself like a HC while also being adept at handling the media.
