QB Draft Solution: Ryan Tannehill?

i guess not...i'm not a vip...does that matter??? i thought it might...i broke down every damn snap in depth i mean it was right as rain and this damn thing kicked me out and it was lost...

anyways...if anyones got any questions about how the kid looked fire away...i was very impressed...and he made a lot of plays despite a lot of pressure let me tell you

No idea if VIP matters. Honestly though, Id get VIP just to get rid of the ads. Makes the site 1000x better.

My thoughts on him are pretty much...yeah, you can say he just had one big game. But sit down and think about the QBs that have put up THAT big of a game. Guarantee you most or all of them are pretty good. Football Outsiders did a decent piece on him the day after that big game basically saying that.

he has a feel for pressure that a lot of guys don't...when he does scramble he has his eyes downfield looking for a target...he steps up nicely against wide pressure...i didn't see him make a bad read really the whole time...when he can bring his hips thru and finish on the throw the balls got hair on it...ball placement good...accuracy good...when detroit sat in zone he took what they gave him when he had a shot down the field he took it...honestly i saw a poor mans aaron rodgers...who with more reps i think i can win with in this league consistently...i tell ya this if i could get him for my 2nd round pick in trade i'd be on it...don't get me wrong he has nice weapons but he knows where everyone is on the field and plays like a guy who's been a starter in this league for a while...

nothing changed for me...if anything i want him more

No one knows where Tannehill will get drafted yet. How many QB's rose up the boards between January and April last year? Who saw Andy Dalton & Christian Ponder going as high as they did last January?

Ryan Tannehill could end up a top ten pick of The Miami Dolphins before it is all said and done....no one knows right now.

I for one am a fan of Ryan Tannehill and would be thrilled for the Dolphins to get him where ever they can.

Your 1st Paragraph could just as easily be describing MOORE, especially if he got the chance to play QB behind the GB offense! And MOORE costs zippo to obtain...he's already here. I wonder what FLYNN would look like w/COLUMBO/CAREY guarding his right flank?

When are people going to realize that Matt Moore's weak arm is a liability that would keep us from reaching the big time? the dude cant throw. now im not saying that if given the pieces and the snaps, we couldnt get a wild card birth with him, but hes not scaring anyone after that. the same was true about Pennington by the time we got him. baltimore absolutely dominated him, remember? moore's arm is where pennington's was after his 2nd shoulder surgery. best case with moore is 9-11 wins and an early playoff exit.

with regards to Tannehill.... his arm doesnt impress me either. definitely a good athlete though. im definitely not comfortable drafting a project qb considering our history.

Tannehill wont make it out of the first round. Too many needy teams looking for a QB and not enough guys available in FA or top end of the draft. If he makes it to the combine and his foot checks out, its all but a certainty in my book. Wont get past Cleveland at 17.

True. Some boards already have in in the top ten.
