If he hits Hartline running towards the side of endzone instead of throwing it 5 yards out of bounds= 7points. Marshall one on one against Jason Allen, Marshall cuts route short, Henne throws to endzone= 7 points. Baldinger said it perfect on AFC Playbook "Miami just doesnt execute when needed". ITS THE TRUTH! I live in MD, can my Dolphins please step up and make plays and start winning some games so i can talk trash to these annoying Raven fans!

Consider the play calls though. WHy is Hartline a go to WR at the goal line? Why can't we run the ball from the 1 yard line? Percentages are definitely in favor of a rb gaining 1 yard than a qb making a perfect pass on a sideline route.

If Marshall doesnt drop the ball that it him right in the hands in the endzone= 7points, if Carp doesnt suddently suck for an half an hour = 6 points... see how it works...

If the dolphins had another top notch corner back or safety they would win

If Ed Reed was a dolphin this team might be 2-0

If the dolphins would have went after ashmouga the free agent CB the secondary would be lock down..

Lets not forget marshal dropping an easy touchdown in the Houston game..

You can what-if a lot of plays and players. You can't put all of it on the QB.

The O-Line, QB, WR's, Kickers, Special Teams, Defense = none of them played a perfect game.

I think it goes a little deeper than that, it's not just his performances. The team doesn't believe in Henne and shows it through their play. This D was top 5 most of last yr...ended 6th I think....Now all of a sudden they're playing like one of the worst defenses in the NFL? By not addressing this QB situation it put a damper on the belief system in the locker room. Look at Crowder's comments after he leaves the team...what you don't think other / many other players think the same way? Not that they should give up, I think that's BS, however, that's the way some team members are and if you lose a few of them eventually after a couple of losses there go some more. Don't get me wrong I want this team to be successful and win, but it's looking more and more like this FO and coaching staff can't get the players out of practice mode. We will see, we are a better road team by far....with our away game stretch coming up maybe things will turn around.

You mean the ball he put right on the hands of Marshall in the end zone?

Watching the same two games I came away with a completely different impression.

To me it looked like the WR's and TE's were putting in more effort and making plays they wouldn't have last season.

If there is a locker-room problem (I'm not jumping on-board with forum gossip), I don't think it's between Henne and the receivers. Aside from the O-line, which isn't that good, I think the offense as a whole has been playing to win. It's the defense that's draggin *** and it was the defense that lost the NE game.

Henne has not been great by any stretch and you still have to lay some blame on him for not getting 7 when in the red zone. Yes, Marshall dropped a ball that hit his hands, and yes the play-calling is a bit suspect in the red zone, BUT it is still the QB that needs to perform and there have been plenty of throws that have been off the mark and these ARE Henne's fault.

Unfortunately our defense picked a bad year to suck ***. We have no pass rush without a blitz and we can't cover anyone. We can't cause turn-overs when needed. They can't even stop the run very well. They are the story of the year, they are the reason we are 0-2.

Who cares if it is or isn't henne's fault that we lost. What we need is for him to pick the team up and carry them on his shoulders...like other top QB's do when their team flounders...at least occasionally would be nice.

QB that needs to perform and there have been plenty of throws that have been off the mark and these ARE Henne's fault.
The O-line needs to hold-up their end of the deal and give him time to do his job. Not trying to make excuses for Henne but it's a team sport.

If the pass protection isn't very good it's going to effect his performance. It's easy to blame a bad throw on the QB and easy to forget about the massive LB that was in his face while he made the throw.

What does everybody say about Brady, rattle him and he plays like crap. Problem is, the NE O-line gives him time while the Miami O-line has been inconsistent and Henne has taken more hits than any other QB so far this season.

As I said before, it's a team sport and everybody has a part to play.

It goes both ways. Thing with Brady is that you need to bring the heat without blitzing or you can get burnt. Marino was the same way and you had to be very careful how you attacked him. Bottom line is that the leauge is set up now for the QB to flourish. Henne needs to step it up bigtime. Personally, I'll be shocked if he ever stars in this leauge and can't understand what other people see in him that leads them to believe otherwise. Just my opinion though and you know what they say about those. For the record, I'd love him to work out and prove me wrong...just don't see it in the cards
