mccown is gonna be 29 next season and been in the league for over 6 years...he has no potential.

Its a tough decision, but I think Volek demonstrated when he backed up Rivers vs de Colts in the playoffs that he's got some gas left in the tank. I would go for Billy.

I think it's a tossup. A Quarterback must have great leadership skills and not bash the team when down. Volek has demonstrated a malcontent attitude in the past. I think McNown would be a bit better as he has started and was brought into lead a team prior to the draft mistake Oakland made.

Prior to being released, he had the respect of the locker room based on his work ethic. He is a leader, is fully healthy now and is by far the best FA QB available. He has already said he wants to play for Parcells and I am sure we can get him for the right price.
Plus...I taught my son how to get his roll on at the age of 2. I was really looking forward to seeing Culpepper and my son celebrate every time Pepp would throw a TD for us.
