Being across the Atlantic from (most of) you, we get very little game coverage of the Dolphins - the team was featured twice on our Sunday evening show.

My knowledge of the team is there fore a little lacking and I would like to know fellow Dol-fans views on Gus Frerotte as starting QB.

Has he done a good job for us.

Is Sage Rosenfels the answer?

Or does the team need a new top-class QB to propel the team back to the top of the division and hopefully on to the Superbowl?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

:)

GUS and SAGE are not the answer we need a new young QB for the future of this team

Gus is the answer to the question . Who is the 28th rated Qb in the league? Or who was benched in favor of Jon Kitna in Cinncy because of poor play?

I dont quite understand the term "the answere" that everyone uses to describe the QB situation. Right now, IMO, gus is the answere until there is a guy on our roster who is our future. When that person arrives, then Gus is no longer "the answere."

No.

People think he was better than he was because of our last season streak. But he put up three games in those six with a rating in the 50's or less. He had nine games overall with terrible performances. That ain't good.

Luckily Saban knows this and has said already that upgrading that position is a high prioirity this offseason.

We don't have to get a stud right now. It would be nice, but what I want to happen is also what I think will happen: We draft a promising project and bring in a better QB to lead the team in the meantime.

With even an average performance at QB this team is much improved. Anything more than that Saban can accomplish is gravy.

None us have understood answer at Qb since we drove Marino out of town.

I do believe that Sage is an excellent back up qb. Gus is extremely hated around here. IMO he did a good job. He played fair, nothing spectacular. He didn't make a ton of horrible plays that cost us games. He certainly is not the answer though. He was a good one year stop gap.

I think its a mistake to not try to bring Sage back to compete for the job next year along with whoever else we sign.

I know he did a good job when he came on to replace Gus at least a couple of times last season.

I thought he would have started the week after the great comeback against the Bills.

couldn't agree more. He was a bad starter but I don't think many will argue the fact that he did an excellent job when called in.

Well we basically have too little info to judge Sage on a starter since he only started against Cleveland. If you were to judge Gus on one game maybe like the TB game and only that game would he be considered a good starter.

The game against Tampa Bay was the only Dolphins one I saw all of.

That was a catalogue of errors, right throughout the team!

TOO MANY PENALTIES!
