Uh i dont see how you can second guess Johnson, Yatil Green was the player i'd have taken at the time. Besides if it weren't for Jimmy the cornerstones of our defense would have never been brought to Miami, i may hate that greaseball jerk but he did a terrific job building this team defensively.

Then I guess it's Don Shula's fault that Miami never had a running game during the Marino era....Had Shula drafted Thomas, Sanders, Smith, etc... Teams draft based off of the needs of the team. If you remember correctly, JJ had Marino when he came to Miami. And as Plummer is concerned, would you really want a QB that's known for flipping off the fans, not once, not twice, but three times?
