Well as much as I want Feely to win the job Ferrote looks much better. It does appear that they called much deeper plays for Ferrote but I am sure that is because he knows the offense better. The offense has just moved a lot better under Ferrote tonight, but its early.

Frerotte has time to throw, less blitzes also...Boston and Gilmore are playing v.s 2nd and 3rd stringers..They get open more easily.

He is going against the second team defense. Wait till the Jax game when he starts to start making the judgements.

I don't think it is that simple. I do think the play calls are more aggressive with Ferrote in there.

That was one of the worst touchdown passes I have ever seen. But a touchdown none the less.

Feeley looked fine. If Thompson catches the ball that hits him in the hands, that may have been a scoring drive.

Yea, Gus has been in a little over a quarter, AJ looked fine while he was in there..I'm surprise he still has his head on..

Biggest difference is the ability to avoid the blitz. Gus looks much better in making plays while being rushed, AJ doesn't.

I'm an AJ supporter but Frerotte looks WAAAY better. He moves around in the pocket when pressured and finds a receiver, AJ just stands there and gets nailed.

Ray Lucas looked good against 2nd stringers too.

Wait till he starts to judge him.

The statue with the deer in headlights look was going on tonight. I know that gus has went against 2nd team and stuff he just looks like he is the better passer at avoiding the rush. We'll see how he looks when he starts. Dont forget though that he is going against the 2nd string D, but he is playing with the 2nd string OL.

Neither looked that bad. A couple of drops hurt Feeley, but he still looks a bit tentative. Frerotte looks a lot calmer in the pocket.

he looked calmer in teh pocket b/c he didn't have urlacher coming on his *** every time.

i think that has to do with being more comfortable in the system. gus knows more of where to expect the wrs to be so he can move and still know where to go. aj is still picking up the system. i would say they are still equal at this time. like most have said, lets see what gus does against the 1st teamers. in jax.

I thought both looked good tonight.

A.J.'s passes looked crisp (good arm) and he didn't throw into coverage.

Gus looked calm in the pocket. some nice throws under pressure. To be fair he was doing all this against 2nd-3rd string players and our 2nd string o-line actually played better than our 1st. It will be interesting to see what happens next game when the roles are reversed.
