Quarterback mess is no joke to Dolphins

How many times does the same old article have to be posted? Pete Prisco is obviously biased against anything dealing with Miami.

Should have know that it would be filled with negatives beings it was written by Prisco. I can't wait to see him and the other media morons with egg all over their face at the end of the season.

What was so negative about it?? Would anyone say we had a great QB situation?? Let me ask you this, name one team in the NFL that would be excited about trading their QB situ with ours. We as finfans look at the possibilities rather than reality. Things COULD turn out ok, but the odds are we will be looking for our starter again at the end of this upcomimg season. That is not negative, it is just obvious. Is it possible for Gus, Sage, or even Brock to light it up and lead the team to the SB, yes anything is possible, a tornado could come through, pick up the team and land it in Kansas, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Come on people, looking at our team for what it is does not mean you don't love them, it just means you are not blind. For all of those out there who thinks anyone who says we are not going to playoffs this year, hates the dolphins, put your money where your mouth is. Lets make a little bet. I'll give 2-1 odds, up to 20- $100.00 bets, that we don't make the playoffs this year. Who wants to take some of that action? There are just too many good teams in the AFC, and we are young, with a new coach, a new system, and no QB.
What the outcome of the fins game, decides my mood for the first two days of the week, every week during football season. I get a sick feeling every time we get an injury, and when Ricky retired I didn't answer the phone for a week. I love the fins as much as anyone, but I won't get my hopes up this year expecting the unlikely. Why would I? I will be happy with 8 wins, and the knowledge that we are heading in the right direction. Enjoy the work it takes to become NFL champions. If it could be done in one year, with just a few good breaks, then it wouldn't even be worth having. Anything worth having is worth waiting for. Savor all these tough times so in 07 when we do have a chance at the SB, we can look back at all these times and laugh at all the other message boards, where other fans are guaranteeing a SB just b/c they got a new coach, or new FA.
I know in this microwave age, instant gradification is the way most people think, and in the new age of the NFL things can happen quickly, but quickly is 07. Next year we will get a QB and he will need a year to get used to the system and if he is a rookie, he may even need two, but by then we should be ready to make a run.....IMO. Yeah yeah I know, there will be people on here who think I am not a fan yada yada. But I see you as being the one that is not a fan. Wanting something to the point of passing on reality does not make you smarter, more loyal, OR a better fan. It just makes you blind. You are the same people who when your best friend of 20 years comes to you and tells you your new girlfriend of 6 weeks in cheating on you, tells your friend he is jealous and kicks him out the door, only to later find out later he was right.
Does this make you a better boyfriend in your book, or more loyal, and smarter? Or just blind?? :shakeno:

You kinda lost me there with the girlfriend of 6 weeks and best friend of 20 years. Cheer up, there are more women to be had. As for the bet, the odds of them winning the East are 20-1. You need to raise your odds to 15-1 that they won't make the wildcard or division winner to make the odds fair. Getting to the QB situation and the rest of the team, from what I have read so far I am pretty confident that the worse we do is 6-10 and I believe 10-6 is not out of the realm of possibility. Feeley seems to be connecting on his deep throws from I've read which will keep people from stacking the box which should free up our running game. Feeley will be better than last year as will the rst of our offense. The defense is the area I am not sure what to make of. Having read the reports on camp though I am cautiously optimistic
