Call me crazy, but I hadn't heard much of this guy until just now they were talking about his stock rising. I'd seen drafts with him going mid second round.

Super fast sack machine at OLB would be awesome in 3-4 Defense. They said he should be expected to run in the 4.4-4.5 range at the combine. I wouldn't mind him at all.

Oh, and he wears a good number too!

Yeah, I think this is one of the guys high on Parcells and Ireland's wish list. The entire premise of the Parcells 3-4 system is that the linebackers make all the plays, they read and react and attack the play, so you need guys who are smart, fast and big to make things happen. That's why I don't see Channing Crowder being here long term, he just doesn't make any impact plays.

We'll replace at least 1 ILB and maybe 2, as well as likely add 1 OLB/DE or maybe 2. Guys like Gholston and Groves are sure to be making Parcells and Ireland drool. Don't be surprised to see us take Groves in the 2nd round if he's available. If we trade down, we may take Gholston.

He is a monster. I love Groves because I have seen him take over games on his own at Auburn. I think he will be a steal for any team thats gets him. I hope to god we can get him lol. I dont think he will run a 4.4 but maybe a 4.5 or early 4.6. GO GET GROVES!

I have him drafted in my mock draft #32 overall. I agree he is someone we need in order for our defense to have success.

Check out my mock titled "UPDATED Mock Draft Scenario."

The only thing that worries me about Quentin Groves is nothing that he himself has done. It is just that he reminds me a lot of Eddie Moore, a linebacker with incredible speed. He definately has the speed to play 3-4 OLB, and he got a lot of experience this year being a stand up rusher. He is definately a prospect worth looking at, I'm not going to say to or not draft him yet, but he is interesting.

If you are not fond of Groves due to questionable against the run... check out Tommy Blake at TCU. great speed, bigger guy, good power... jsut needs to make sure he is willing to play!!! very nice character!!!

Groves at his size is one of those "Planet Theory" guys.

At 6'3" 250 pounds, this guy can run a 4.49? Are you kidding me? thats insane. Merriman and D-Ware didn't come in that fast, I don't think.
