Remember when we were struggleing terribly, and looking for a RB, we were trying to trade for Larry Johnson but the Chiefs wanted a second rounder Im pretty sure and we werent willing to part with it

In retrospect knowing what LJ is now is there any part of you that somewhat wishes we made the trade? Even with knowing we have ronnie?

if I got anything wrong please correct it, I dont remember 100% exactly what happend with it

We give up a second for Feeley but wont For LJ:shakeno:

If we traded for LJ then we would have never drafted Ronnie.Leave it to Wanny to go trade a 2nd round pick for AJ Freakin Feeley.Thats probally why we didnt make the trade we didnt have a 2nd round pick.Feeley trade was the worst trade ever IMO.

I think it was for a first rounder, but I'm not positive. I mean he was drafted in the 1st round I think, so idk why they would let him go for a 2nd rounder.

Funny thing is, most of us were AGAINST giving up a 2nd for LJ, myself included.. He had the Penn State stigma. I dont think he would have been NEARLY as successful here as he has been in KC behind that line..

I dont remember the Cheifs ever trying to trade him. I remember Vermeil saying he aint going anywhere even when Vermeil and LJ were bickering at each other.

damn wanny.....trade fot the worst qg ever but not 4 larry johnson...basically what i and every other dolphins fan is trying to say is that wanny is a dumb ****....mods can change the f and k if they please.....

[mod] i got better things to do, then to be editing things you know and just admitted you shouldn't be doing - don't do it again [/mod]

I remember Vermeil telling him that he hadn't gotten out of his diapers yet LOL. Whats he got to say now?

Let's see what LJ does running behind an average O-line whichis what the Chiefs will be soon...

I think you could plug in anybody in KC right now and they would put up numbers.

They was takeing offers for him.

LJs production from last year would have been a steal for a 2nd.... but his production was in one of the top 3 running games of the past 5 years... Ronnie proved he's a playmaker already and he'll be in a similar situation as LJ was last year. Truth is tho if we did make that trade we'd have LJ and Ricky... and the 2nd overall pick, who would we take then? Braylon or Ronnie ?

Yeah lets see how he does with out his 2 All-Pro starting tackles...

No. We likely would have struggled with a good running back in 04 as it is.

Even if we struggle and finish with the same record the team could look far different, maybe better, maybe worse who knows
