Hey, normally I'll listen to 790 the ticket over the internet while I work since I live out of state. Is anyone else having problems connecting?? Is this due to the hurricane or is something up with the website? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I haven't been able to get the 'net audio stream all week. I assumed it was because of the hurricane, but I don't know that for sure. I guess the only thing to do is wait and see when it comes back...

They have no general power at their studio. It should be fixed soon.

Oh wow, thanks man......how many people are without power??

ALOT. So many are are left with no gas and no electric. Alot of the stations are out. Some are just simulcasting the hurricane reports and some are just out. The stations should be fine eventually. 790 will be back soon. I love the mcduffie show. It has to be the best.

Hurricane Wilma Turned off the lights in Miami. Florida power & light company said Expect 2 to 4 weeks without electricity. I'am so glad I live in Gainesville, Fl

Most radio stations have generators and UPSs.However they are not meant to be used for prolonged periods.

The problem might be that most employees may be at home where they dont have power and they are needed.

790 is broadcasting locally, but so many things are screwed up down here. Some reports say Dolphins stadium has major damage, some said minor, it's just a mess over here right now.

I really feel for those people:cry: , I went thru 2 weeks without power here in Pensacola during Ivan and a couple of days after Katrina & Dennis, it flat out sucked. Lets hope the hurricane season goes quietly the rest of the year ....

I'd much rather deal with the Hurricanes in S Fl than to live in Gator country.
