The number of people that can enter camp on your roster is 80 right? OK... so what about Lionel Turner? (the LSU LB that retired) If he retired... then did that open up a spot? Like for one of the guys we cut right before camp to make room... LIKE ATARI BIGBY????????

I'm sure Saban probably knew he was going to retire. More than likely Atari won't be coming back.

If Saban cut Atari before camp even opened he must not be very good.

im a little disappointed Atari got cut. He was definitely a standout at UCF and we have some safety issues. I was hoping to see a FL local make the squad and shine in the NFL.

Well now it does seem like that Pape will retire, so there will be a roster spot opened. I suggest that we sign a FS to take his spot.

Exactly. It should tell you something about his talent level if he couldnt make the cut at a position that we desperately need to add depth in.
 
yeah if Commadore 64 was any good he wouldn't be the FIRST to go. Wonder what is going on with Pape? He still hasn't been heard from yet???

Also what is the FINAL roster number? Is it 48 regular, plus PS

The final roster has 53 players and the PS has 8 players on it.

I don't believe that to be true as Pape was on a free spot from having played in NFLE
