I read many of the QB related threads here and there is something I just don't understand. Aren't we all rooting for one of these 3 guys to just be clearly better than the other 2 regardless of what their name or draft stature was? It seems like folks are rooting for individuals and that makes no sense to me. IMHO if the competition is close the FO/STAFF has to pick the guy with the most potential and stick with them, forget musical QB's. Other than a longing to be right I can't see why any of us would be rooting for an individual here.

I have no allegiance to any of these qbs. However, I would prefer that Henne be the better qb... simply because the the younger the player, the longer that position will be set.

Obviously we all want whats best for the team, and i'm sure would love either Beck, Henne or McCown succeed and turn this disaster around. But we all have our opinions in any issue, and one of the main issues on this team as always is the QB position. I think a lot of people enjoy being RIGHT so they defend vividly why a certain guy is right for the job and if he succeeds they feel a little more powerful. That's fine, but forums are to share thoughts and opinions and to debate a little. Don't expect everyone to come out behind the same guy. That's like expecting everyone in the USA to get behind one political party in this years election because they want the country to do well.

Dude, I want Beck even if it means not winning a single game...hehe Just kidding. I think everyone wants to win, regardless of who is the QB. However, we all have our personal favorite we want, mine is Beck, so I talk crap about Heene. If Chad beats Beck and McCoun out, I will support him as much as I did Marino.

Mc Clown looks like our best option at this point. That is how pathetic we have become. Either Beck gets it together or Henne grows a brain. If that doesn't happen it's another year watching old videos of #13.

Are you an insult comic? QB position has become more pathetic since when? Fiedler, Lucas, Feeley? This is honestly the most optimistic year I've had for our QB position since #13. All 3 can be considered in different ways as legitimate prospects with untapped potential. And can we stop calling McCown that? He's a Dolphin now. Let's wait till he ****s up in our uniform before we start throwing the insults around. McCown was a nothing pick out of a nothing school and yet he's still gone out and earned NFL starts. He never had them handed to him like so many other terrible QBs who come in more highly regarded. I respect that or at least I pity the guy for having to play for the freakin Cardinals, Lions and Raiders all his career.

Actually he was a 3rd round pick. Tom Brady and Matt Hasselbeck were 6th round picks. Tony Romo was undrafted. So I would say there are no nothing picks in the NFL.

But you are correct, anyone who can survive more than a season or two in the NFL, especially as a QB, must have something positive going for them.
