Question for Mods

I was wondering since you are a mod i figure you might answer my question. I was wondering how do you become a mod? I feel like i would be a good mod and a responseable one aswell. Please help me out.

Correct spelling is always a plus too.......

Care to give an example of a moderator who doesn't "post 10 bazillion times"? There isn't one. There are a few who aren't as active as they once were, but we all are regular contributors......
