Question for Clumpy

Given all the rampant speculation on trade downs from the number 2 pick, the additions of drafted players, and the possible addition of redundant personnel, I have a question for all capologists. What would be the cap effect if we released any of the following players:

AJ Feeley
Damion Macintosh
Junior Seau
Gus Frerrote
St Clair
Mckinney
D. Thompson

I am not advocating release of any of these players, just curious how it would affect the cap.

That's Clumpy's page... shows the cap hit if we were to release anyone on the roster both pre and post 6/1.

John St. Clair is really the only guy I see getting released from that list. If we draft QB, I think Sage is gone but the other guys seem safe.

But I do help with the cap page. Ok I just update it. But that makes me involved in some manner, right??

BTW - we haven't updated it since 3/3.

Interesting to note that Seau would save almost $3 million prior 6/1.

McIntosh has since restructured (update was 3/3, restructure was 3/6).

Alex Marvez, of the Miami Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins OT Damion McIntosh has agreed to restructure his contract and will remain with the team this year. McIntosh agreed to reduce his base salary by almost $2 million to the NFL minimum $540,000. McIntosh's agent, Steve Feldman, said his client can earn the $2 million back through incentives.
