None of the beat writers had any inside scoop on any free agents or last year's draft, so there's no real reason to listen IMO

Yeah but nobody else covering the Fins did either. That's more of a testament to the current Dolphins regime (which is probably a good thing). I find Salguero/Jackson seem to have more scoop on the Fins than anyone else out there (though Cam Wolfe could be gaining some traction).
