who was that player who came in to play for the phins in the 2nd half they said he was a former panther. He dad fresh legs and actually stepped in front of delhomeys throw. It was the first time I saw a corner today actually step in front of a pass and turn around when the ball is in the air.
My opinion on current corners
Sam- He is who he is, will make plays and is better than our other cb's

Daniels- Like his upside, but needs to learn how to locate the ball while in the air. I notice he likes to faceguard a bit and in this league that will get u exposed.

Howard- Spielman bust #4230250435. Im speechless!!

I know saban is a db guy and he will make adjustments.

It feels soooooo good to finally have a leader we are proud of. Nick if you are reading this, we support you 100% and thank you for making us proud to be Miami Dolphins once again.

i hope to God that Saban doesn't waste his time reading this site.

To answer your question.......That was Eddie Jackson on that play. I have stated before, move Howard down and give Jackson a chance.

Why would he not read it?, you would be surprised if you actually knew how many people involved in the organization read this site. The smack and negativity can get to you, but once in a while there are valid points made. Even though I am new to posting here, I have lurked for a while and enjoy a well thought of and creative post.
I think Jackson should get an opportunity and let howard come in on occasion.
Thanks for the response.
BTW do we have anyone on the practice squad worth a shot??

Agreed. He might make rookie mistakes, but not get slaughtered like Howard was.

Did Howard actually give up all three of the TD's to Smith? I know he gave up the first two, but didn't see the last one.

Pathetic.

Not sure on the third td (maybe sam). Howard reminds me of an old 90's dolphin corner jb brown (this will bring back memories to you).

yup, but the safety took a bad angle and tackled sam rather than smith. madison might have been able to tackle or slow smith down otherwise. team effort there.

He was in the vicinity so I guess you can say he was covering him . He reminds me of an old 90's dolphin corner jb brown (this will bring back memories to you).

 Oh, yeah.

Except JB was more athletic, always had promise. On the day we signed Howard (same day as Akins, I believe) I looked up his stats and saw that he runs like a 4.7 40...and I wondered, WTF?

Who was that safety? It wasn't Jones or Schulters. I can't tell if it was Tillman or Howard?

To bring further analogies, his play is reminiscent of Paul Lankford:D. Hey Nabo i know you remember him too.

Seriously if we can make a few adjustments in the secondary. Then offenses are not going to be able to steven smith us.

The safety who made the tackle was Tillman on that play, good shoestring tackle.

I was thinking more along the lines of William Judson.

let's not forget our two white safeties from that mid 80s era: Bud Brown and the aged Glenn Blackwood...

*siiiiiiigh*
