Question regarding the backup QB's

Since there is a rule that if the third string qb enters the game then 1 and 2 can not return. Think that they would try to list him as a WR or something to avoid that? Because if Pennington does go down and they list Henne at #3. Then White cannot enter again if Henne plays. (This is assuming they use White to run the wildcat.)

The rule you are talking about only comes into to play if White isn't active. Most teams have 45 other players active and the 3rd team QB is inactive.

I'm sure White will be active on games where they were planning to use him in the wildcat.

Then it's no big deal.
