Ok, here is the question The Mor and Mindwarp has for everyone...

Say you live in South Florida, and in the NFL off-season there was a privately owned football league. This football league features 8 teams, each of which has 7 players (and up to 2 subs) that play both ways (offense and defense).

It's completely organized with refs, rules and full contact. All of the players have to be a full time student, or in the work force over the age of 18. They cannot be a part of any other organized sporting event (IE - College ball or semi pro or some sorts). There is no money charged for players to play, but there is a fee for teams to sign up (to pay refs, rent fields and stuff).

This league would play on Saturday mornings (remember, this is during the NFL and NCAA off-seasons) and would charge a small fee for admission to watcha day of organized 7 on 7 football. The ticket would buy you seats to the field, and you can watch all 4 or just 1 game if you like.

Is this something football fans are willing to pay to see? Refreshments would also be sold at these events, and much cheaper than Dolphin Stadium refreshments too. :D

Well?

what does the money go to? 'cause that'd make a huge difference... btw you have to pay $2 to watch a professional game here and that's if the people at the field even come up to you...lol :rofl3:

Never thought of that actually... Guess it would go to the investor of the league.

I'd pay about $5...up to $10 if a portion of it went to a charity or something ;)

We have a "Semi-Pro" Baseball league in this area.. fun to watch...cheap tickets... nice little stadium, not a bad seat in the house, and the players of the league are all paid the exact same salary...
I've enjoyed many games....and will continue to do so..

So my answer is ... yes... I'd pay up to about $10 for a ticket....

Cheerleader squads are allowed although they must be hired and supplied by the seperate teams.

I'd play, even pay a good $5 to watch if it was organized and "real" football.

i tried to vote 2, said i already voted for some reason

More detailed feedback than I expected.
