Sorry about the all the questions, but I have a ton of em.
How much is too much when trying to sign him?
Should we try to sign him?
If we don't, can we trade the right to sign him?
What compensation can we expect from a team interested in signing him?
Will the decision concering him affect our 1st day draft?
What kind of move do we make to replace him if he goes?

I really like the guy, but I can't see paying him much in view of our low cap numbers. What do you think???????????

How much is too much when trying to sign him?
600 K per year over like 4 years would be great!

Should we try to sign him?
Yes led our team in receptions gotta have him back

If we don't, can we trade the right to sign him?
No he would become a Free Agent, thats only happens with restricted Free Agents

What compensation can we expect from a team interested in signing him?
None

Will the decision concering him affect our 1st day draft?
No

What kind of move do we make to replace him if he goes?
Kevin Curtis WR

if we let go of wes it will be a huge mistake!

wes led our team in receptions, and for a 5'7 tall 180 pound white boy that is amazing!

he has heart, and i believe cam used tim dwight nicely when he was in SD.

i love wes welker!

1) 600K a year for 3 or 4 years. He has no ego, it shouldn't be an issue.
2)Yes
3)I don't know
4) He's an Unrestricted Free Agent, there is no comp needed.
5) No.
6) Stallworth or Kevin Curtis.

I would really like to see him re-sign. I think about 3/4 million a year will do it. He is our most consisent reciever and needs to be on the field more than he is. I think he's a great punt returner but I feel he does not have that explosive burst for a KR.

Do you mean 3/4 of a million or 3-4 million?

The Red Zone has Welker listed as RFA. Is that an error on their part?
Are you absolutely sure he is an UFA?

Couldnt agree more.

Consistancy isn't necessarily a good thing. If he consistantly caught one ball a game, would that be a good thing. I love Wes, but he is our 3rd or 4th best receiver. He only caught 1 TD and never had a really huge game. I'd love to keep him, it's just nonsense for us to consider him our best WR.

Chambers led the team in receptions 2 years ago, but everyone wants to get rid of him. (And he made the pro bowl.)

Also, I don't care what color his skin is. What does that have to do with anything?

Too bad the other receivers don't have the heart that Welker has, and why can't the Fins use Vick for a return man? I heard he was real fast.

we must absolutely re-sign wes that should be very high up on the list of things that we must do this offseason. wes was incredible for us in the recieving department last year and will hopefully have more balls thrown his way next season for the phins.

everyone wants to get rid of him because for the money he is getting he stinks and simply does not earn his pay check. people are loving wes because he is cheap and wears his heart on his sleave every match despite his lesser athletic ability and far lesser pay check than chambers and but still manages to put in better/equal performances compared to that of chambers.

I get sick of hearing that Chris doesn't earn his paycheck. I would understand making him restructure or take a pay cut for 2007, but why would you ask a pro bowler to take a pay cut? My god, where do we draw the line.

And as for Welker playing so much better than Chambers, he had 8 more catches for 10 more yards with 3 fewer touchdowns. Explain to me there how he outperformed Chris in what will be Chambers worst year of his career and what was probably Wes' career year.
