I have a question for staff, that I do not wish to ask "out there"... I don't want to start a thread, nor did I want to hijack John's ...would you consider a questions thread sticky?.. ayway, my question.. did y'all really ban feelthepain... and it's not my business but may I ask when he will be allowed back? annnnd, if it happened in the tread I think it did, several of his detractors/prodders should have joined him... jmho. thank you for allowing this agravation.

I am never one to question the MODS anad admins, because I have observed first hand how well this site is monitored, and how well everybody in here plays for the most part.
For what its worth, I would voice up for Feel the pain. I have talked with him quite a bit in here, as well as outside, and I do find him to be a very stand-up guy.
If he deserved to get banned, (And I am sure he did) then I honor that, however, if it is a life ban, that is a tough thing. I have seen him in some pretty heated conversations in here, but I have seen many people, myself included, in the same boat.

just my 2 cents worth, and like Marty, sorry for the hijack John.
 
His ban is not permanent banning. To put it correctly, and not to devulge the privacy between a certain member and the staff here. Some members need to learn to communicate better with fellow members, as well as staff members.:wink:

Thank you for the clarification Brother John.
In retrospect, probably more information than you (Including mods and staff) actually needed to divulge to me, and I do respect what you guys do. I will not bring this up again.

thanks John...and I appreciate your answering of my question, when you didn't have to. To the mod in question, please do not think I am second guessing your decision, I promise that is not the case, I was just curious, I like him. Thanks again for the answers AND the thread...

Also, with respect the the FTP thread, staff deleted a few of the replies almost as soon as the were made. You most likely didn't see the sum total of what went on.

I have been overseas for a long time and am only now getting "re americanized" as they say and I really dont like folks who try and dictate what folks post. I have seen this w/ this guy for quite some time and it has bothered me...for some odd reason this particular thread ticked me off.

Anyway, I just wanted a perspective from some of my fellow Premmies....it's very credible that I am out of line here so I need some feedback....this guy produces some good stuff but he also sends a message which I dont think represents what AJ has worked hard to build...JMHO.

I agree personally with with what your saying about Disustipate, I think he needs to relax some, the poster did not know what they were going to talk about when he posted it.

I also agree he sends out some good stuff, but he gets a little over mighty sometimes.

So I for one agree with you and that is the second thread I have seen him do it in.
 
Sometimes I think that the overall 'health' of FH would best be served if senior members (Premies, for example) would act as big brothers and PM people you are concerned about.

I have learned to never underestimate a PM that starts off with

"Bro, I have noticed __________ and was wondering if there is something going on in your life that makes you come off that way at times. I have seen enough of your posts to know that that is not the 'real you'

Is there anything I can do to help, let me know :)"
