if u guys are wondering why RB wasnt in as usual as i did myself its b/c i think hte same issues hes had throughout his career as cam said himself.

he doesnt hit the whole he dances too much. on that one pass where it became 4th and 1 adn we went for it to haynos, on the 3rd down pass all he had to do was go forward instead he kept dancing around surtain one of the best tacklers from my memory and didnt get the damn 2 yards.

also, after ted ginn got knocked the blurp out on that pass to the middle and left for a series or so cu zof the shoulder i doubt he ever goes over the middle again sadly lollll

btw) I dont think any other team is as useless as we are on double covering WR. it makes no diff and if u ask me usually its a completion as opposed to single coverage. i cant wait for the offseason to get some DB that can atcually JUMP or make a play close enough to pee wee kids. its as if they jsut watch the ball fall to the WR hands like a gift. its honeslty sad. i feel sorry for them. so far goodman is our best DB of late.

I have to agree on the play that caused 4th and 1. He should have put his head down.

I'm not a big fan of the dancing, but it did work for RB in the 4th quarter for a 1st down run.

On the play that preceded the 4th and 1, the DB was in perfect position to stop Ronnie two yards short of the first down. He also had to stop to make the catch and had no momentum going forward at all. He was forced to try to make a move to get the angle he needed for the first down. It worked on the first tackler, but the 2nd defender in kept him one yard shy of the first down.

It was absolutely stupid to have Ricky Williams in the game trying to run out the clock on a day like today. Ricky has always had fumbling issues, and that fumble today was his 4th of the season. Ronnie has just one, and is definitely the more sure-handed of the two.

theres a time to dance... and theres a time to get the damn first down when its 4th down

Do you rememeber when he Hurdled Brandon Flowers. And got 15 yards on that dance he had when he had no more than 2 yards? Yeah, I think he knows how to play, rather than an armchair-coaches

Exact point I made on Ronnie in my halftime post. Good call. Despite what another poster in this thread stated, Ronnie gets that first down fairly easy by turning after the catch, putting his head down, and barrelling forward. He splits those defenders and the one on his left dosent make contact till right at the marker or just before. In that case Ronnie has an outstanding shot to overpower him for the extra yard needed.

Ronnie is just a LOSING football player that will get you beat in crucial spots if you let him. He has to go.

I usually agree with you with alot that you say but I do not think Ronnie is a losing football player. Was I pissed he didn't get that first down by running that DB over yeah I was. Sometimes I just don't get what Ronnie is trying to do. But in the end a win is a win. On a side note I agree with some posters that I think Ronnie should be running the ball at the end of the game and not Ricky. Ricky fumbles much more than Ronnie does.

How many wins would we have without him??? Well AT LEAST the 10 we have(which one of those games did he win for us) and quite possibly a couple more wins out of the 5 we have lost. Certainly the first Jets game where he cost us a critical TO late in the game by not knowing the play. Had we won that game, we wouldve clinched the division today.

You usually sound like you know what you're talking about but your blind hatred of Ronnie is pretty ridiculous. To actually state that this team would be better of without Ronnie is a little out there.

I agree with the criticism that Ronnie will on occasion dance too much as he did on that 3rd down pass play. But if it's 3rd and 1, there no other RB on the roster that I want to get the ball. He has consistently proven how tough a runner he can be.

But even allowing your criticism, there was no excuse for not giving him the ball late in the game. The only thing that could have cost us the game at that point was a turn over and you give the ball to the RB with 4 fumbles versus the guy with more carries but only 1 fumble? I love Sporano but some of his decisions just leave me scratching my head.

Edit: As for Ginn, he's not even worth talking about. I'm tired of making excuses for him. I'm not calling him a bust(yet) but wake me when he lives up to his number 1 receiver billing. Right now, he's the 3rd best receiver on the team.

Ginn never projected as a number 1 receiver (despite what Cam may have thought). Anyone who thinks that is kidding himself. He can be a solid 2 and a dangerous playmaker though, as he has proved this year.

I guess the 4 catches for 44 yards and 31 yard td run meant nothing to you. He also went across the middle a couple times and took big hits. I'm not sure why this game would bother you.
