All I keep hearing about is Tom Brady coming back and taking the division and the rest of the teams might as well not even show up. One thing the dolphins have been able to consistently do is "GET" to Tom Brady and he has had some of his worst days as a QB when he has played the dolphins. Question is: Can anybody name a QB that has come back after a knee injury like that and dominated? I'm sorry, I can't think of one.

Is there another QB like Tom Brady????? I can't think of one.

With the talent that surronds him and the veteran group he has on offense he doesn't need to be 100% to be tough to beat.

I'm not saying they're going to win the division.....but I will say that if they don't it won't be because of Tom Brady.

Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers did, and both had less time to recover.

Rivers played with his injury lol.. and Palmer hasn't looked the same, though the judge is still out on that. Thing here is he can be a half brady and still dominate, their fault is in their D. Brady won't throw 50 and 10 but i wouldnt count out a 30-15 season.. still pro bowl caliber (though I'd love a 10-50 season from him)

I'm not going to look up the stats, but I don't remember either of these guys doing real well the year after the injury. Did either win their division the next year after?

Dan marino came back from an ijury and dominated that year. It was 1994 and the phins were playing the patriots on the first game of the year. Marino threw for 5 TDs i believe and beat the pats.................When the game ended the back then pats coach bill parcells went up to dan and asked jokingly.........You did all that on one Leg??????????

I remember going to that game......Drew bledsoe was outside after the game signing autographs to pat fans...The game was in miami.

did either have the offensive team that Tom Brady has this year?????

Tom will not stand in the pocket and have the poise he used to. Every quarterback coming back from major knee surgery or concussions loses a bit of calm in the pocket for fear of the recurring injury. He will still be good but he'll get happy feet a LOT quicker now that he has that on his mind.

Tom brady is scared of Jason Taylor lol i love it... U can see him always looking were JT is. Now he has to deal with hima again and Joey Porter. Might not make it the whole season again with those hard hitters.

He is facing 2 big things IMO. He has been off almost a full year, he will be rusty. I don't care how good you are, it takes a bit to come back. Just ask Ricky Williams. The second thing is none knows how that knee is going to react. Yes, he is ahead of schedule and planting and all of that. Lets see what happens when he has to support a 300 pound linemen a few times a game.

Brady is good but he's not near as good as people make him out to be. He just has had alot of great players, coaches, and tapes around him. He will suffer this year. Moss will start pouting. Hoodie will start scratching his head. And their defense will continue to suck.

the thing is, the Patriots are playing the Bills in week 1. they have struggled to get after the QB last year. getting Schobel back and bringing in Maybin should help, but there's no guarantee that their pass-rush will be significantly better. i think Brady's knee will be a bit tenuous, but IMO he will trust his knee again at one point.

carson palmar came back from a similar injury with less recovery time .He was injured in the playoff so brady had 4 more months to heal .He threw for 4000 yds , 28 TD and 18 INT. Manning had his surgery in traning camp and had a bad start as he could not move his feet and was very limited.

I also think kevin has progressed better .He is a faster, quicker and stronger version of matt cassell. He is in his 2nd year and a third round pick. So worst case you will see him come on if brady is limited .He played for SD state had better stat than phillip rivers and also set the record for yds and td for a qb in his conference.

From every OTA i have seen kevin is really good also manning and palmer did not have the No 2 rushing attack in the AFC behind them when they came back,
