quick question, ravens have the same record as us, if they lose this weekend to dallas and we win, we have that 6th spot correct?

I was thinking about it, but I don't think it matters unless they lose the next 2 games. If they lose the next game and we win, then yes we have that 6th spot for the time being...


But if we win at NY the game after that we win the division so who cares? And if we lose at the Jets and end up with the same record as the Ravens...we're out because we lost to them.

Moonman has it right. That would temporarily put us in the 6th spot. but if we lost to the jets, and ravens win their last game, they get the 6th seed back (unless the patsies win out with the ravens and dolphins losing a game each, then the patsies get it)

Our 2 ways into the playoffs are:
1) win both games and we win the division, giving us the #3 seed.
2) win one of the games, and
--a) baltimore loses both remaining games, and
--b) patsies lose at least one THEN we get a wildcard (the #6 seed)
