Quinn is the QB to get this year

Why is everyone so in love with Russell, Stanton, and Trent Edwards. The guy is Quinn, plain and simple. Cut the talk about not winning a big game. His team gave up 40 points in every big game. No one can win with those numbers. Russell didn't even have his job secure at LSU until fall practice. If you want to talk about never winning a big game, talk about Stanton. That guy has no leadership ability which is evident by the way his team folds every year. Trent Edwards couldn't even lead his team to wins over the likes of UC Davis, who is division 1-AA. If you are going to look at the positives of those three, then look at the positives of Quinn. His numbers dwarf all of those guys. He has been playing in a pro style offense under an NFL proven coordinator in Weis. Russell has a ton of potetial but Quinn just seems to have the total package in terms of ability and smarts.
 
Darn right, Quinn is the most ready of all the QB's in the draft. Not his fault ND defense sucked in every big game. This guy can flat out make throws. Not sold on Russell yet, Stanton is nothing special, get into his head and he stinks. Edwards does nothing for me.
 
I will say it for the 1,000th time. I want Quinn. If the trade up scenario with Detroit is correct, I take Quinn, Quinn and Quinn.

Thank you!!! Quinn is just the all around Franchise QB, and can be the face of the franchise, just like Marino. Now wait a second, I am not saying he will be as great as Dan, but he carries himself in the same manner, not getting into trouble, no boat rides (C-Pep) or admitting to smoking pot (CJ). I hope we get him.
 
IF Quinn pass the first four spots we may trade up in order to enroll him.
But that's a very big IF, Cleveland is the most likely place for him. I hope this may become our biggest pick at QB since Marino.
 
As much as I like Quinn, we HAVE to get a starting LT in this draft. I would almost sacrifice Quinn and draft Brown, or find some way to get Staley as well as Quinn. We could get Kolb or Stanton in the 2nd or 3rd. Without that stellar LT a Dolphin QB will continue to struggle.

I wish we would have had the #9 pick last season, because we could have gotten Leinart, and we'd be a year farther into his development. Because I think Leinart was extremely well-prepared, but I believe Quinn is even better prepared, and more mobile with a better arm. If the Phins can get him, consider me a happy man.
 
I do think it is time for Dolphins to take a risk in the draft and get a QB. I do too think Quinn "may" turn out to be good NFL QB. BUT!!!!! All this talk of "I KNOW" he is the future franchise QB is just crazy. How does anyone "KNOW". Cut the BS and stop thinking you "KNOW" how Quinn would turn out if drafted by the Phins. You "think" he is the best shot at a franchise QB but you don't "KNOW". :tantrum:

Quinn just sounds right! Think about it! Brady Quinn throws deep and he hits Derek hagan for a 65 yard TD! PLus there is a Brady in his name and we all know Tom Brady.......case closed......................:patssucks: :azmang:

I don't think you ever really "know" but I'm just stating that when you compare him to the other three, he is more NFL ready. Very consistent and very smart. Also, a 4 year starter.
 
I guess with me the problem is I hate Notre Dame and I think they are grossly propped up by the media. I still remember Rick Myers and this thread reeks of "man crush" and leaking bodily fluids. You Q guys got me to the point of rooting for him to be picked ahead of us on principal alone. We need a stud with brains for QB. Not a limp armed medium pass thrower. See you guys Sat :)

I love the hate. It's classic. This has to be the dumbest post I've read in some time. You don't have to like ND to like Quinn. I hate Michigan but I wouldn't mind seeing any of their first rounders lining up on defense for us. College is over. Time to stop taking sides because of the school they went to. By the way, who is Rick "Myers"? :sidelol:
