as of right now, if we aren't the worst team in the nfl we are pretty damn close, and god help us if any starters on defense get hurt.
 
Our played really horrible tonight. Guys wasn't doing what they should be doing. It seems like that alot of our guys heads wasn't in the game.
 
Our play was fine. You guys are just going by stats and the final score. I saw great improvement in our secondary. Feeley looked sharp. Gus looked pathetic. Sage hardly played and Brock didn't play at all. Boston looked great as well.
 
Yet by time our 1st stringers left the game we were only trailing 7-0

That is a good thing. If our offense gets it together we will be fine.

Well, I worked all night an djust saw the score- I see the offense did yet another bang-up job. :rolleyes: Anyone care to fill me on the latest offensive embaressment?
 
I dont take anything form this game. Saban didnt care. Just listen to his press conference tommorrow. Not what he says, but how he says it. his body lingo.

Quit making excuses? how bout quit your whining.
 
There is absolutely ZERO killer instinct on the offensive side of the ball. To me the o-line is playing scared and tentative...as if they're trying to hard to remember their techniques that they're forgetting to just go out there and tear up the d-line. There's just no cohesiveness.
 
I'd also like to say that I think Lee was wearing McMike's number tonight.
 
the starting D did look impressive. Held them scoreless (except fumble return)for most the first half. Boston also excites me!

you see, thats just it. doesnt anyone wonder why Ronnie sat tonight? Saban doesnt want to get guys hurt for no reason. You look up at the sky, you look at the blitzburgh D and go, what the hell for? so we can prove that Ronnie and Ricky wont be starting for this team? These palyers didnt care tonight because there coach didnt care. Why should we? We havent lost any player this preseason to injury of any significance. That is a huge Accomplishment! KNOCK ON WOOD!
 
our first team offense gets dominated, especially up front, and our defense gives up big plays. look at it however you need to in order to make it through the day, but right now this team isn't any better than last year's version. there needs to be vast improvement if we want win more than 4 games this year.
 
I had a revalation about an hour ago. And it hit me like a ton of bricks. It's so simple, the reason why played so badly in Pittsburgh.

Ask yourselves this question:


Who lives and coaches in the city of Pittsburgh??


Once you answer that question, you realize that it's only natural that we'd revert to our old ways. After all, who doesn't like to make their old coach proud??
